Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actress since the end of the 1980s. In the film and television industry, she's known for her awards and nominations. Bassett was born in New York New York and was raised by her aunt who lived in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett along with her sister aged five, old, made the move away from the city of their birth to St. Petersburg to live with their mother, who was the separated father. Bassett was in high school when she was able to see James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck in the play Of Mice and Men and knew that her dream of becoming an actor had been realized. Yale University New Haven Connecticut gave her a bachelor's degree (1980) which was in African American study, and a graduate degree (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. While at Yale she met Courtney B. Vance a co-actor and they married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama conferred the degree of Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Basssett in the year 1980. She was a student at the following schools: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for students in 7th grade, Azalea Middle School for 8th & 9th grades as well as Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her leading roles, Ramonda, in the action-adventure movie i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
